| The First Show | |||
| The very first Mohegan Pequot Model Railroad Club display took place at the Ledyard Fair in Ledyard, CT, on September 11 and 12, 1981. At the time, the group consisted of approximately 15 individuals and referred to themselves as the Mohegan & Pequot Model Railroad Association. The first display was a bit different than our shows today. It featured one working N scale layout approximately 2'x4', an HO scale switching layout, and numerous static models in HO, O, and S scales. Take a look at some of the photos below from the show.
