     Description:  Since many of the modules on the Mohegan Pequot layout are either yards or designed for switching, they tend to be covered with track.  One of my favorite aspects of the hobby is scenery, so I decided to do a 4' module with only the two mainline tracks, and the rest scenery.  Being a native New Englander, I've always enjoyed the look of the classic New England farm.  I decided to model a typical local dairy farm, complete with a large farmhouse, a big red barn, and a few shop and garage buildings.  For variation, I also added a stream and a small pond adjacent to the barn.  The finished module will also feature working grade crossing flashers, two cornfields, and a pasture, which will continue onto one of our new corner modules.-Dan DeLany
